‘Emission – Réception’ reflects on suspicion, communication, interaction, transmission an reception of images and is even so about how messages are sent (through television) and received when easily manipulated by the power of the political institutions during the Franco-period in Spain.

N/S/E/O (Antwerp Version) is an installation that Muntadas made for the Venice Biennal in 1976, and was shown again at the ICC in Antwerp.

Tonight We Escape From New York was part of another audio-installation, originally shown at the Whitney Museum of American Art. The large-scale, white-on-black chalk drawing shows a rope ladder to be installed in the museum with four speakers alongside it; through these speakers fragments of a racist dialogue were broadcast, sounding as if they rose and fell along the ladder.
