In Honger the eponymous word is painted in white acrylic on a piece of sandpaper; the letters are formed using various bones from the human skeleton. With these sparse and simple means he evokes a provocative image of the harrowing famines in developing countries. The poem was enlarged and put on canvas by means of a photographic process.
