The 12 b/w illustrations are from the artists's stay with the Yanomami Indians in the Upper Orinoco Region, Venezuela, 1978-1979; the 6 color illustrations are photographs of his work in sculpture and painting. Published in conjunction with his exhibition at the Stedelijk Museum.
